One of the many great things about working at our Firm is that every professional is supplied with a laptop and smartphone, allowing us the ease and convenience of working remotely when required. Technology is an integral part of our culture, and having these tools at our fingertips is a privilege we should all appreciate.
I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of two things:
- Please be mindful that your firm-issued smartphone and laptop are the property of WithumSmith+Brown. The reason we make the investment in current technology is because it is vitally important that we are accessible and responsive to our clients and our partners when they are in need of assistance. This is all part of providing the World Class Client Service we strive for every day.
- With that in mind, also be mindful of accounting for the time we spend responding to clients, including communicating from your mobile device. A few minutes here and there while writing an email or making a phone call adds up. If you are working on behalf of a client, please be sure to charge your time for phone calls and emails to the appropriate codes.
