Members of the Healthcare Services Group represented the firm very well at this past week’s NJ Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Annual Institute, with Michael Serluco, Partner, presenting “Proposed Revisions to NFP Healthcare Entity Financial Statements; ” Karen Henderson, Senior Manager, presenting “Healthcare Industry Tax Update 2014;” and Scott Mariani, Partner and Co-Practice Leader, moderating the closing CFO Panel Discussion. Additionally, the chapter’s publication, Garden State Focus, was shared at the conference containing articles by Karen Henderson and Ryan Bixenman, Staff Level II, on “Department of Health Recommendations on Hospital Financial Transparency,” and Tony Panico, Partner and Team Leader of the firm’s Healthcare Reform Advisory Services, with an update on the “ACA Transitional Reinsurance Fee.” Tremendous team effort!
By the way, Tony Panico co-presented a Healthcare Reform Update with Wells Fargo at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank on October 1 with over 80 clients and contacts in attendance who appreciated the information. Terrific!
