I am pleased to share that last night, WithumSmith+Brown was once again a part of the NJBIZ Best Places to Work in New Jersey awards program, in which 100 New Jersey companies (65 Small/Medium sized companies; 35 Large) were competing for the top spot for 2015. With over 800 people in attendance, it was a nail-biting countdown resulting in Withum ranking #5 in the Large-sized company category, outranking ten other accounting firms in both categories. One accounting firm did squeak by us, with Wilkin & Guttenplan making an impressive move to the #2 spot in the Small-sized category.

This is the eleventh consecutive year we have been recognized in this awards program, a feat that is worthy of celebration. We are proud that – thanks to our amazing staff – our firm remains a leader in the public accounting profession. We are also pleased to share that we had plenty of clients who joined us in the Best Places to Work rankings, including Yashi, Meridian Health, Maser Consulting, Lowenstein Sandler, Gibbons and Barnabas Health, to name a few. Indeed, we were in good company.

Another recent “best” achievement was our appearance in the Best Companies to Work For in New York State program, presented last week in Albany, NY, by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). This is the second year in a row that our firm was honored, listed for the first time last year. Good stuff.

On behalf of the partner group, I thank you for your continued support. We believe the cornerstone of our firm’s success is truly the loyal and talented professionals who work here every day, dedicating themselves to our clients, our communities and each other.
