Congratulations to the Broncos fans! So maybe we didn’t have a favorite home team in Super Bowl 50, but it was still a great game to watch. And what a great half time show! Congratulations for the Bronco’s fans (if we have any) and it was nice of Bruno Mars to feature the song from our 2015 video….more website hits are coming!
This morning, I’d like to introduce a new member of the Withum family’s Forensic & Litigation Services Group. Please join me in welcoming Howard Scribner, CPA, ABV, Principal.
Howard comes to us from KPMG, formerly the national practice leader of their Economic and Valuation Services (EVS) practice. His scope of practice included valuations, transfer pricing studies and general economic consulting engagements, focusing mostly on large, complex valuation assignments with significant recent experience in Telecom, Media, Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services. Assignments included corporate finance transactions, purchase price allocations, merger and acquisition due diligence, disputes and litigation support, valuation reviews, financing and leasing transactions, tax purposes and business planning. He also served as an expert witness on numerous occasions with testimony venues including State Tax Court; Federal Tax Court; State Superior Court; and Federal Bankruptcy Court.
Howard retired from KPMG in 2013 and spent the last two plus years traveling, enjoying the outdoors and spending more time with his wife and four children. He recently joined Withum to re-kindle his interest in today’s business valuation and economics environment, having a desire to join a mid-market CPA firm with a strong culture and entrepreneurial spirit. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to fold in Howard’s deep expertise into our litigation group.
As part of our firm’s growth strategy, adding specialized talent to our roster is an important element of that plan. We expect many great opportunities to come for our clients and staff with Howard on board. He’s based in our Princeton office; feel free to reach out to make an introduction.
