  • Management Consulting Services members Joe Riccie, Practice Leader, and Megan Watson, Team Leader, presented a webinar to the firm’s healthcare clients and contacts on “Manage Training for Managing the Only Constant in Healthcare: CHANGE” on February 17. Great way to promote our non-traditional services!
  • Rob Campbell, Analyst with the Automotive Niche, presented to a room full of auto dealership executives on manufacturer policy compliance and audit risks at a recent conference with the New York State Automobile Dealers Association.  He also recently moderated a roundtable on “Improving Fixed Operations” for the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia.  Last week, he presented a session for DealersEdge, a national education service for dealerships, entitled “The Seven Absolutely Essential Service Management Key Indicators.”  And this week, Christine Andrews, Business Consultant with the Automotive Niche, joined Rob back at the NYS Automobile Dealers Association to discuss to dealerships “the Habits of Highly Effective Office Managers.” Wow! Amazing efforts!
  • Michael Roppo, Director of Dealer Fixed Operations Consulting and Training with the Automotive Services niche,  shared his thought leadership with two recent video interviews on com covering topics related to dealership management and increasing performance and profitability. Very impressive!
  • Tony Nitti, Tax Partner and Forbes columnist, was quoted in the Wall Street Journal article, “Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz Release Partial Tax Returns” on February 26. He also presented a 2-hour webinar for a CCH on March 1 on S338(h)(10). Great thought leadership, as always!
  • Tom Walsh, Partner, and Jim Browne, Partner, presented on “Choice of Entity and State Tax Traps” at the Boston-based incubator CIC on March 2. Great team work!
  • Bill Sansone, Partner and Law Firms Team Leader, presented at the NJSBA Solo & Small Firm Conferences on March 5 on topics related to law firm management. Nicely done!
  • Tom Angell, Partner and Financial Services Team Leader, was an Industry Expert presenter at the GAIM Ops conference in Cayman March 6-9, with other members of the FS team attending the conference in support. Not a bad gig, eh?
  • Robert Traester, Staff Accountant, had his article on “Contributing Assets to an Investment Company” published in the most recent issue of Mass Society of CPAs SumNews . Robert’s article is on page 8, along with our new brand ad on page 13. Great job building eminence and brand recognition in that region!
  • Marcus Dyer, manager, was published in the March issue of Accounting and Financial Planning for Law Firms with his article, “Entity Selection for Attorneys.” Way to go!
  • Ed Mendlowitz, Partner and Partners’ Network founder, was quoted in the Wall Street Journal article on “A Primer on Tax Records” on March 6. Very nice, Ed!
  • Joan Kampo, Director of Human Resources, was a round table leader at the February Emerging Leaders Summit, which offers professional and personal development for beginning to mid-career professionals. Joan provided insights on defining and building a strong culture, certainly sharing examples of all that is Withum. Great job!
  • Kudos to the Technology Services Group who helped get Withum a mention on com with our new friend, Orlando-based accelerator Starter Studio, who as a guest, mentions Withum as a Platinum Partner at 26:20 of the recording. Very nice!
  • Speaking of which, Technology niche members Jim Bourke, Partner and Tech Practice Leader, and tech member Jose Antunes, presented at the HLB International conference in Herefordshire, UK, speaking to our fellow members on tech trends in the accounting profession. Jim also presented for New Horizons Group in NYC on March 7 on “Mobile Security in the Profession.” Fantastic!
  • Dave Springsteen, Partner and Count Basie Theatre board member, was a part of a terrific NJBIZ article, “Curtain call: Nonprofit theaters around N.J. are working — and working together — to attract corporate sponsors,” sharing his support of local theatre. And there’s also a great photo of him with the Count Basie team. Excellent!
