2017 Top 100 Firms

MP MessageToday – March 20th – marks the vernal equinox when the sun crosses the celestial equator… which means it is the official first day of Spring! After the winter we’ve been having here in the Northeast, we are certainly looking forward to sustained warmer temperatures, blooming flowers, being outside a whole lot more… and April 18th! We hit a major milestone for the current tax season with the smooth passing of the corporate due date, so hang in there as we head into the home stretch of busy season.

We are thrilled to share some great news about our firm’s rankings according to Accounting Today, who released their 2017 Top 100 Firms report last week (excerpt attached; this is different than the Inside Public Accounting rankings). Withum appears as the #1 Pacesetter in Growth demonstrating the largest percentage of revenue growth of the Top 100 firms; we moved up six spots to the #26 largest firm; and we are ranked #6 largest firm in the MidAtlantic region.

While we never mange the firm or make decisions for ranking, this is a terrific achievement. We are so pleased that throughout the firm’s 43 years of history, we have enjoyed consistent year-over-year growth through our long-term growth vision of strategic mergers and acquisitions which supplements our robust organic growth. We are most proud of our organic growth which was 15% last year and is a testament to all of your efforts to be out in the market developing leads and then closing on them. We have a 70% win rate when we get the opportunity to submit a proposal. In addition, the World Class Client Service provided by our many talented professionals has given us an outstanding retention rate. As shared at the State of the Firm meeting, Withum’s purpose is to ‘be a catalyst for growth and success,’ and each of you play a critical role in our own firm’s success. THANK YOU for all you do.
