What I appreciate most about New Year’s Day is that it brings the hopes and promises of a fresh start. As we head into 2018, I am excited about the endless possibilities we have together as a Firm.
On a very serious note and important note, it’s hard to ignore the numerous revelations of famous and powerful people abusing their positions of authority to take advantage of others that have dominated the news in recent weeks. We felt it was important to remind everyone that Withum is absolutely committed to ensuring and maintaining a safe workplace that is free from harassment, threats or abuse of any kind. In this, we are resolute and unequivocal.
As part of my professional growth, I enjoy reading books, blogs and newsletters on topics related to doing better in the workplace. I recently read a post by Karima Mariama-Arthur, Esq., a renown speaker and author on leadership development and performance management, about having a ‘successful mindset.’
